Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Learn Korean With Us (“LKWU”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These terms explain the conditions for using our website, enrolling in our Korean courses and purchasing our apostille, translation and document-support services.
Please read these terms together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and the course or service details provided before payment.
Registration and acceptance
Before completing a purchase, you will have an opportunity to review the applicable terms and confirm your acceptance.
Please provide accurate registration, contact and payment information. Let us know promptly if information needed to deliver your service changes.
Learners under 18 must enrol through a parent or legal guardian, who should review and accept the applicable terms.
Enrolment is confirmed when LKWU verifies the required payment and registration information and confirms your batch or service order.
Course details and suitability
Course levels, prerequisites, duration, schedules, fees and inclusions will be communicated before enrolment.
Complete beginners should start with Level 1 unless LKWU recommends otherwise. Admission to higher levels may require previous study or a placement assessment.
LKWU course levels are internal learning stages. They are not automatically equivalent to TOPIK examination levels or an official TOPIK qualification.
Please review the course description and ask any questions before registering.
Fees and payment options
The fee and payment plan confirmed at enrolment apply to your purchase. Any applicable taxes, additional charges or exclusions will be disclosed before payment.
One-time payments and instalment plans may have different total prices. Promotional discounts apply only where their eligibility conditions are met and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
Payments must be made through the official payment methods provided by LKWU. Please retain your receipt or transaction reference.
Changes to advertised prices will not retrospectively increase the agreed fee for an existing enrolment.
Monthly instalment plans
A monthly plan divides the agreed course fee into instalments. It is not a separate month-to-month subscription, and each payment does not create a new refund window.
Instalment amounts and due dates will be communicated before enrolment. Please contact us before a due date if you anticipate difficulty making payment.
If payment is overdue, we will notify you and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Continued non-payment may result in temporary suspension of course access after notice.
Missing classes, leaving a group or stopping payments does not itself constitute a cancellation request.
For an approved cancellation within the refund window, eligible payments already received will be refunded according to the Refund Policy, and future instalments for that cancelled enrolment will not be due.
Requests outside that window will be reviewed under the applicable cancellation terms. We will confirm the outcome and any remaining payment position in writing.

Schedules and changes made by LKWU
Class dates and times are stated in Indian Standard Time unless otherwise specified.
We may occasionally need to change a session because of instructor availability, illness, technical disruption or other operational circumstances. We will communicate changes as early as reasonably possible.
Where LKWU cancels a session, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or agreed alternative without an additional teaching fee.
If we cancel an entire course before it begins, we will refund the course fees received in full, without a payment-processing deduction.
If we materially change a confirmed start date or schedule and you cannot attend, contact us to discuss an alternative batch or an appropriate refund for the affected undelivered service. Accepting an alternative batch will be your choice.

One complimentary batch change
Students may request one complimentary batch change per course enrolment, subject to availability in another batch of the same course level.
Email heylearnkoreanwithus@gmail.com with your current batch and preferred schedule. The change takes effect only after confirmation by LKWU.
A batch change does not restart or extend your original refund window.
The complimentary change does not include transfer to a different course level or transfer of your enrolment to another person. Any additional change and related charge must be agreed before it is made.

Attendance, participation and missed classes
Students are responsible for attending scheduled classes, completing assigned work and informing instructors when they need assistance.
Attendance and assessment requirements for certification will be disclosed for the relevant course before enrolment.
Missing a class does not automatically entitle a student to a private replacement session, an extended course or a fee reduction. Available recordings and materials may be used to catch up.
Any additional catch-up support will depend on availability and the arrangements confirmed by LKWU.
Online access and technical requirements
Students need a suitable internet connection and a device capable of accessing the platforms used for classes and materials. A microphone and camera may be needed for interactive activities.
Students should keep their contact information current and check the designated communication channel for class links and updates.
Please report access problems promptly. We will assist with issues within our control. Where disruption on our side prevents a promised class or service from being delivered, we will arrange an appropriate remedy.
Recordings and learning materials
Recordings, notes, worksheets and other resources are provided according to the inclusions stated for your course.
Classes may be recorded for educational use as explained in our Privacy Policy. Please contact us before a session if you have concerns about appearing in a recording.
Course access and resources are for the registered learner’s personal study. Do not share account access, class links, recordings or restricted materials with unauthorised persons.
Where lifetime access is advertised, its scope and any limitations must be explained before purchase. It does not automatically include every future course, new resource or recording.
Respectful conduct
Students must treat instructors, staff and other learners respectfully.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, impersonation, unauthorised recording, disclosure of another person’s private information and deliberate disruption are not permitted.
For ordinary conduct concerns, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to address it. Serious conduct that threatens safety, privacy or security may require immediate temporary restrictions.
Any decision to end an enrolment will be communicated with reasons. Refund and payment consequences will be assessed fairly under the applicable terms and law.
Assessments and certificates
Certificates are issued when the learner meets the attendance, assessment and other completion requirements communicated for their course.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, an LKWU certificate confirms completion of an LKWU course. It is not a TOPIK score report, university degree or government-issued qualification.
Students must submit their own work and follow assessment instructions. Suspected academic misconduct will be reviewed before a decision affecting certification is made.
Learning outcomes and scholarship guidance
We provide teaching, practice and feedback to support your progress. Results depend on factors including attendance, independent practice, starting ability and participation.
Course enrolment does not guarantee fluency, a particular TOPIK score, employment, university admission, a visa or a scholarship.
GKS and study-in-Korea guidance is informational support. Final eligibility and selection decisions belong to the relevant authorities and institutions.
Applicants should check current official guidelines and institution-specific instructions before submitting an application.
Apostille, translation and document services
Before payment, LKWU will confirm the agreed service, price, document requirements, estimated processing time and applicable cancellation terms.
Customers must provide clear, accurate documents and disclose relevant deadlines or special instructions. We may request additional information where needed to complete the order.
Do not submit forged, altered or misleading documents. If you provide documents belonging to another person, you must be authorised to arrange the requested service.
Apostille or authentication does not itself guarantee acceptance by a university, embassy, scholarship authority or other recipient.
Translation and document review cover the scope agreed for your order. They do not guarantee that an application will be approved.
Processing estimates and delivery
Processing estimates begin after the required documents, information and agreed initial payment have been received and any necessary originals have arrived.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, working days exclude weekends and relevant public holidays.
Processing time and courier-delivery time are separate. Requests for additional verification, authority closures or courier disruption may affect the expected completion date.
We will communicate material delays when known. A processing estimate does not remove our responsibility to deliver the agreed service with reasonable care.
Please check your delivery address before submitting an order and report errors in delivered documents promptly.
Refunds and service cancellations
Course refund eligibility, deadlines, payment-method deductions and request procedures are explained in our Refund Policy.
The course’s three-class refund window does not apply to apostille, translation or document services.
Cancellation terms for those services, including any non-recoverable third-party costs, must be disclosed before payment. We will explain any proposed deduction and the work or cost to which it relates.
Payment errors, duplicate charges and services not delivered as agreed will be reviewed separately from change-of-mind cancellation requests.
Intellectual property
LKWU-created teaching materials, website content and branding belong to LKWU or the relevant rights holders.
Students may use supplied materials for authorised personal learning, subject to any applicable licence. Commercial redistribution, resale or public uploading without permission is prohibited.
Third-party textbooks and resources remain the property of their respective owners.
Students retain ownership of their original work. We may use submitted work as necessary to teach, assess and provide feedback. Public promotional use of identifiable work, images or testimonials requires separate permission.
Privacy and third-party platforms
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may use third-party platforms for classes, communications, file access and payment processing. Their applicable terms and privacy policies also govern your use of those platforms.
Using an external provider does not remove LKWU’s responsibilities for the services we have agreed to provide.
Problems, complaints and responsibility
If something goes wrong, contact us promptly with your course or order details and a description of the issue. We will investigate and explain the proposed resolution.
If circumstances outside our reasonable control interrupt a service, we will communicate the effect and discuss a suitable alternative or remedy.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your applicable consumer rights.
These terms are governed by applicable Indian law. You remain free to seek remedies through the competent consumer authorities or courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future enrolments and orders. The revised version and its effective date will be displayed on this page.
Changes will not retrospectively reduce the rights or inclusions agreed for an existing purchase. Any material change affecting an active service will be communicated and agreed where necessary.
