Refund Policy

We want you to feel comfortable choosing Learn Korean With Us. Our course refund window gives you time to experience the classes and decide whether they are right for you. We take pride in being India's only Korean Language Institute to offer this refund policy.

Course refund window
You may request a refund before your course begins or by 11:59 PM IST on the date of your batch’s third teaching session. You do not need to provide a reason.
The window is based on the first three sessions actually conducted for your batch, whether or not you attend. Cancelled sessions do not count. Making a later instalment payment does not restart the refund window.
If you join a batch after it has started, your refund is three sessions after the date you have made payment.

Refund amount
• Direct UPI payments to LKWU: 100% of the eligible course fee paid.
• Payments through Razorpay, including UPI payments made through Razorpay: the eligible course fee paid, less a 2% payment-processing deduction.
For example, an eligible ₹3,000 payment would receive a ₹3,000 refund through direct UPI or ₹2,929 after the Razorpay deduction and ₹8,000 refund through direct UPI or ₹7,819 after the Razorpay deduction.

Monthly payment plans and refunds
For students paying through a monthly instalment plan, an approved refund applies only to payments already received by LKWU for the eligible course enrolment. The amount refunded will follow the payment-method deductions stated in this policy.
If you submit your cancellation request within the applicable refund window and it is approved, your enrolment will be cancelled and no further instalments will be payable for that enrolment. You do not need to pay the remaining course balance to receive an eligible refund.
For example, if you have paid the first ₹3,000 instalment of a ₹9,000 course and your refund is approved, the refund will be calculated on the ₹3,000 received. The remaining ₹6,000 will not be due.
The monthly plan divides the full course fee into instalments; it is not a separate subscription renewed each month. Each instalment payment does not create a new refund window.
Simply missing classes, leaving the class group or stopping payments does not constitute a cancellation request. Please email heylearnkoreanwithus@gmail.com so we can review your request and confirm your enrolment and payment status in writing.
Requests made after the refund window are reviewed under the relevant provisions of this policy. The waiver of future instalments described above applies to approved cancellations within the refund window.

How to request a refund
Email heylearnkoreanwithus@gmail.com with:
• Your registered name and contact number
• Course level and batch
• Payment amount and transaction ID or payment receipt
Use the subject line “Refund Request – Your Name.” Your email’s received date and time determine whether your request meets the deadline.

Processing your refund
Once approved, we will initiate your refund within 3–5 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to credit it. We will confirm the amount and provide a refund reference where available.
Refunds will normally be returned to the original payment source.

Requests after the refund window
Change-of-mind requests received after the deadline are outside this course refund offer. If your concern involves a cancelled class, an undelivered service or a payment error, please contact us so we can review it separately.

Batch change
You may change your batch once at no additional charge, subject to seat availability in another batch of the same course level. Please email heylearnkoreanwithus@gmail.com to request the change.
A batch change does not restart or extend your original refund window.

Apostille, translation and document services
The three-class refund window applies only to Korean courses. Cancellation and refund terms for document services will be provided before payment, including any processing or third-party costs that may become non-refundable.

Policy updates
The refund terms provided when you enrol will apply to that purchase. Future policy changes will not retrospectively reduce those terms.
This policy does not limit any rights available under applicable law.
