Who Are We?
Learn Korean With Us is an online platform dedicated to help people learn the Korean language. Our lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, with a focus on developing the language skills needed to start conversations in Korean.
We are qualified and experienced instructors and are passionate about teaching and helping students reach their goals. We believe that learning a language should be an enjoyable experience, and affordable to all. We strive to make our lessons both informative and entertaining while focusing on practical Korean skills.
Story Behind LKWU
Our founder started teaching Korean in August 2020 during the pandemic with a whiteboard and mobile camera like millions of other educators. We started with less than 10 students and slowly became a community of 1500+ learners. We went fully digital in less than a month as more and more people embarked on their journey to learn Korean. LKWU formally started in October 2021 with our exclusive “TOPIK Crash Course” that remains one of its kind to date.

Nahid Rehmani
Content Producer
Nahid is a content producer at LKWU with a strong passion for marketing and Korean media. A graduate in Commerce, she excels in creative storytelling and audience engagement. Having completed a beginner-level course in Samulnori, she continues to deepen her knowledge of the Korean language and culture. Her love for Korean music, drama, and traditions drives her to produce content that bridges cultural gaps. At LKWU, she leverages a blend of creativity and strategy to develop compelling and educational content. She began her Korean language journey at LKWU and is now a proud recipient of the 2025 GKS scholarship.
Veda Gopala
Level 2 Instructor
Veda holds bachelors degree in Korean language from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and masters degree in Education from Ambedkar University, Delhi. She has been teaching Korean language for more than a year and is well versed in teaching pedagogy and language education. She currently teaches our Level 2 Korean course and is especially appreciated by intermediate learners for her clear explanations, structured approach, and deep understanding of grammar. Veda knows how to bridge the gap between beginner and intermediate Korean, helping students move from basic sentences to real conversations with confidence. She is a recipient of multiple fellowships including the prestigious POSCO fellowship.
Manish Rathod
Creative Director
Manish is a versatile creative professional specializing in graphic design, social media content, and website development and editing. Obsessed with blending design and trending topics, Manish crafts designs and content that’s not just eye-catching but also interactive, educational, and occasionally funny (on purpose). With a sharp eye for visuals and a strong sense of digital storytelling, he helps LKWU communicate clearly and creatively across platforms.
Ananya Mahir
Founder & Level 1 Instructor
Ananya is the driving force behind LKWU, an initiative born from her deep love for the Korean language and culture. With years of experience as a Korean language educator and linguist, Ananya has helped hundreds of students across India and beyond gain confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding Korean. Her warm, student-first approach sets the tone for a welcoming community where learning thrives. Fluent in Korean, Hindi, and English, Ananya bridges linguistic and cultural gaps with ease. She brings a unique teaching style that emphasizes clarity, consistency, and real-world application.
